simple homemade vanilla ice cream sweetened with honey 🍯

Making homemade vanilla ice cream is incredibly easy and fun! With just a few simple ingredients — cream, milk, raw honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt — you can whip up a delicious treat in no time.

Simply mix the ingredients, pour the mixture into your ice cream maker, and let it churn until it is creamy and smooth. In just a couple of hours, you’ll have rich, creamy vanilla ice cream that’s perfect for enjoying on its own or as a topping for your favorite desserts.

This vanilla ice cream has lots of healthy fat and is sweetened naturally with raw honey. When buying raw honey, look for local and organic if possible so ensure you are supporting your local farmers and not swallowing pesticides!

As a sweetener, raw honey is one of my favorites because it is a natural antibacterial + anti-fungal, it soothes coughs, it supports gut health by acting as a prebiotic, it is a quick source of energy, and it may help strengthen the immune system because it is enriched with important vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin C, B Vitamins, Folic Acid, Vitamin D, and minerals such as calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium and zinc.
